Laurentide makes wool, cashmere and heavy knitwear for the six months that matter in Canada. We work from Montréal, where the cold is not an abstraction.

We choose fabric by weight and density, not by season. A knit has to hold up in November, in January, on the first morning the frost stays all day. That is the only test we apply.
